Aksel a 14 year old boy was diagnosed May 2025 with a rare bone cancer. April 2025 we raced together at the Tombstone Desert Donkey Dash. In April 2026 I ran the Tombstone Desert Donkey Dash, missing my running buddy from 2025. In May 2026 I will be running in Cerrilos, NM at the Turquoise Trail Pack Burro Race in support of Aksel, as this was his 1st race in 2024. Aksel is still fighting a tough battle involving chemo & surgeries.
