One Medal is an affinity endurance program that celebrates the successes of those who participate in a race or endurance event in memory of or as an encouragement for someone’s recovery, a celebration of life or other special occasion.
One Medal provides athletes an opportunity to change the world by providing a united platform to train “on purpose and for a purpose”, honoring someone or something “larger” than themselves. One Medal participants inspire, empower& encourage people going through adversity, in honor of someone who faces a seeming insurmountable challenge and/or fighting a disease. One Medal athletes also participate in memory of a someone’s life, representing an important cause or to simply celebrate a loved one’s special occasion. One Medal participants receive their recognition through humility, determination and self-sacrifice for someone, or something, larger than themselves.
One Medal is a New Mexico Based Corporation. The organization is in the process of submitting to be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code

In January 2010, I started a journey of encouragement for others with a two-mile training run for my first marathon. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to run numerous endurance races as an encouragement for others. This website is where we share One Medal moments with a spiritof encouragement and motivation.
