I am hiking for (and with) my mini donkey, Emory.
I first met Emory a couple years ago at an equine rescue that I worked at. Emory was rescued by the livestock division of the police due to abuse/neglect and was extremely fearful around people. He would shake in the corner when people came near him and wouldn’t let you touch him.
I am hiking today to show how far my little guy has come and how much you can accomplish when you work as a team. I am so proud of the progress he has made, and know he will do great, regardless of what place we finish in!
